Role
My role in this project was as a UX and UI designer. This was a great change in pace since I was able to develop the UX and flow of the project, and also bring it to life with the design. I love projects like this because designing is one of my favorite parts of the whole UX process.
UX Challenges
Create a mega menu with multiple levels of navigation and add pictures and interactions within the menu.
UX Goals
Create a simple flow to a deep navigation architecture. Design a small mega menu that also houses an image.
UX Approach
Study other websites who are doing this well, rework the user journey, and choose images that are on brand and doesn’t distract the user.
The solution
A fun mega menu that is easy to use, translates well to mobile, and brings to life the brand and destination.
